The Abandoned report, issued in March 2016, addresses the difficult and complex situation of asylum seekers who are single mothers, as well as that of and their children. These groups form the most vulnerable sector of asylum seekers in Israel.

The report is based on research conducted among single mothers asylum seekers who turned to ASSAF’s Advocacy and Support Center for help and assistance. It characterizes this population, and portrays their unique circumstances and needs.
